The Bel Air Community Band (BACB) is proud to celebrate our 50th Anniversary! The band exists so that the musicians of Bel Air and the surrounding areas have the opportunity to continue to make music. Our motto: We love to make music and that's why we're here!

Welcome to Applause of Bel Air.
 

Applause is the premier baton twirling team in the Bel Air and Harford County area. We are lucky to have twirlers or all ages from all around the Baltimore, Maryland region, and from as far away as Pennsylvania and Delaware. Applause has produced more State, Regional, and National champions than any other area group. In addition to our competition and National program, we offer recreation classes for children who want to participate in a fun activity without the pressure to compete. Our affiliation with Bel Air Parks and Rec and the dedication of our volunteers allows us to offer the finest baton instruction at a fraction of the cost of other area groups. Our twirlers, teams, and coaches are some of the most accomplished in the area.

 -Classes are every Wednesday 6-7 beginning in October at Bel Air Middle School.  Private lessons are available at an additional cost from 7-9  . 

Cost for the season that runs through the end of May is $120.00.  This includes any competition fees and contests. Batons are  an additional 20.00 and will be ordered after measurements are taken.

Due to the limitations of our facility, we have a cutoff number for total membership. Registration is $40, and the next registration period for returning members will run from starting Feb 1,2023.

Each new members will go through a probationary period to ensure that his style of play does not create a danger to himself or others. If it is determined that the new member would be better placed in a different program, his membership fee will be refunded.

Any member, new or old, whose behavior is not in keeping with good sportsmanship will be required to leave the program, and will not receive a refund.

All new and returning members need to bring both a white shirt and a dark shirt to the gym. Middle-range colors such as light green, yellow, pink don't count as dark.

The Bel Air Women's basketball league is open to players 25 and over. It is pick-up format for fun and exercise.  All skill levels welcome.  The program will start October 9, 2022 and runs till May 2023.
Games will be played on the Sundays 3-5pm at the McFaul Activities Center. (525 W Macphail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014)

Program will adhere to all State & County Covid-19 Safety protocols.

A great way to exercise.  The Club practices on Mondays from 7-9 PM year round and participates in shows for community events including the Bel Air Xmas Parade, Bel Air Arts Festival, area nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. Annual dues is $80.
